Manufacturer does not warranty the cushions on their chairs, they only warranty

They could not wait for my 401K money to come in, forcing me to ask myįriend to purchase the chair for me. People at Relax the Back only told me they would sell me “this chair” at this great Told me when I called them when I started having problems with the chair. I did not know the chair was out of production until the manufacturer Word “clearance” was never spoken and they never told me the chair was out of If they would have told me that IĬould not return it, I would have become suspicious and never purchased theĬhair. I do not buy merchandise, especially expensive merchandise if I The chair never came up when I purchased it. Relax the Back and Furniture for Life are refusing to help me further with this problem. I have communicated with Furniture for Life, the chair manufacturer who said they do not warranty the cushions, only the chair mechanism, and they would only help me once with this problem. He was adamant that they will not let me return the chair. I spoke to ***, the manager at Relax the Back. I finally received the new spring assembly, within 2 days the seat cushion was already breaking down and the mechanism is beginning to rock again. I called Relax the Back and told them I wanted to return the chair, they refused to take it back.
I waited 5 months for the part, they did not send a new spring assembly, only a flimsy cushion which did not correct the problem. Relax the Back sent a tech to my house, the tech said I needed a new spring assembly. Within 2 months the seat started sinking, and getting lumpy, the seat was as too uncomfortable to sit in, and the chair mechanism was beginning to rock. I bought my Anti-Gravity chair September 28, 2019. Adding insult to injury, they won’t give her money back so she can even try to find a chair that does help her to be comfortable. They pressured her into buying it in the first place, convincing her that it would help its only made her condition worse. They didn’t tell either one of us that at the time of purchase. Now they are telling her they won’t take it back because it was on sale. It is defective and she is already disabled.

She needs a full refund for the chair! I can’t believe they won’t take the damn thing back. She cannot stand to sit in it, it CAUSES her more pain. She’s had it repaired twice, and it’s already broken down again. They never told either of us that the chair was on clearance and therefore wasn’t returnable. She paid me back in full, $2299.00 on October 7, 2019. I paid for the chair for her, I’m tax exempt, so that saved her enough so she could even afford to buy it. They wouldn’t hold it for her for a few days, just long enough to get cash from a small account she had stashed away. Relax the back pressured her into buying the chair. She is disabled, she has had almost her entire spine fused. My friend, ******** ****, found a chair at Relax the Back, that she was told would help her to sit more comfortably.
